Mini-tarts
Materials:
- liquid acrylic paint (chocolate brown or dark brown)
- air-drying clay
- mould (I'm using a Padico mold with a tart-base mould)
- toothpicks (optional)
- silicon whip (I'm using some Decoip at the moment)
- Deco parts like fruit or chocolate sticks.
1. Make tart bases and allow them to dry and harden.
2. Coat with liquid acrylic paint for chocolate tart bases. Coat non-chocolate bases with sealant.
3. With a hot-glue gun, lace the edge of the tarts with coloured glue sticks.
4. Pipe silicon whip on top of the tart and adorn with fruits, ice-creams or other yummy items. For fancier tarts, two colours of fake whipped cream may be used.
5. Allow silicon whip to cure for at least 24 hours. A layer of sealant may be required if the deco parts are not waterproof or coated with sealant previously.
